Not when an offer is accepted. A sale in Scotland becomes binding when "missives" are concluded – the formal exchange of letters between your solicitor and the buyer's. Until then, either side can technically walk away. Getting the property under offer is only the first stage in a sale. Progressing the sale to completion is the second stage.
